On 5/020/04 Dallas Semiconductor decided to move their popular 1-wire discussion groups to a web based forum format. The 1-wire community was greatly against this change of format and usability and has managed thru the efforts of some our special members to keep the lists alive.

We thanks all those who volunteered and especially to Tim Sailor (at Coastal Internet (a ISP provider)) for taking on this job. Time has pledged to keep the list non-commerical and to keep the membership lists private. The lists are now independent of Dallas Semiconductor. Thanks Tim!
